The Gamilaraay nation is one of the fourth largest Indigenous nations in Australia and lies within the border of Northern New South Wales and Southern Queensland.
Pearl created this collection with vibrant colours of the natural world in mind. She has a personal connection with the land and ocean and wanted to reflect that in her designs, using the colours she sees in her environment around her and the vibrancy and energy the earth provides to us every day.
The aim of each Indigenous piece of art and design I create is to bring awareness and appreciation to the Aboriginal culture and contemporary Aboriginal art. Using my art in swimwear gives people the opportunity to be proud of Australia’s rich and vitally important history in a unique way.
